The applied project title is The development of crucial abilities of sales employees at OMV service stations (Support of the implementation of new products and services of OMV in Slovenia). We have reached the finals and are anxiously expecting the announcement of the best consulting project, which will take place on 13 November 2007 at 6 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.

    Within the Student Arena, which took place at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre between 16 and 18 October 2007, Zoran Vaupot, MSc, the managing director of SIGEM Business Consulting, introduced the consulting service through presenting operations within the company. Students received answers to their questions from the managing director and also from a newly employed co-worker.

    The result of the only event of its kind so far or the first meeting of the users of consulting services on Wednesday in Ljubljana’s Mons Hotel thrilled guests and satisfied organizers.

    The consortium of SIGEM Business Consulting, Imelda Ogilvy, and Racio Razvoj consulting companies made its debut with the first event of its kind on Wednesday, where they presented practical examples of Slovenian consulting projects with solutions in the fields of management organization, corporative communication, and human resource management. The partners were offered even more – individual workshops which gave each guest the opportunity of private (free-of-charge) consulting on their own concrete challenge. The audience’s excitement was exceptional and the organizers were encouraged several times to prepare another meeting as soon as possible.

    Respectable partners had the opportunity to see and witness the presentation of a renewed Profit magazine on Wednesday, but the exclusive event did not end here. Next followed the auction of two highly praised paintings by young female artists, which the visitors could vote on throughout the day. After the sales exhibition, a prize-draw started late at night for the most persistent guests. And it was worth it: the first prize (and all of the others) i.e. six free–of-charge consulting days were awarded. The entertaining part then finally began, which was full of pleasurable atmosphere and good music.

    SIGEM Business Consulting concluded a promising strategic partnership with a Spanish company, Romero & Gil Internacional.

    The two companies met today at an exhaustive meeting in Ljubljana which concluded with the establishment of a strategic partnership between SIGEM Business Consulting and the Spanish company, Romero & Gil Internacional, based in Málaga. Their intention is long-term business cooperation and association at the level of both companies as well as at the level of potentially new markets, namely Spanish and Slovenian.

    The Slovenian Consulting Cluster (SSG) and the Finance newspaper are holding the 1st Consulting Conference entitled Slovenian Knowledge for Greater Success, which will take place on 14 February from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Lev hotel in Ljubljana.

    The purpose of the conference, where the managing director of the Consulting Cluster (SSG) and SIGEM Business Consulting, Zoran Vaupot, MSc, and Mr. Dušan Stopar, partner of SIGEM Business Consulting, will also give lectures, is to encourage the exchange of knowledge, ideas and suggestions among consultants (also those that solve marketing challenges), and provide concrete results, directives and guidelines for 2006 – presentation of innovations in consulting knowledge.

  • Solemn Establishment of the Economic Interest Association SSG

    15 founding members established the Economic Interest Association Slovenian Consulting Cluster on Friday, 30 September, in Terme SPA Rogaška.

    15 renowned Slovenian consulting companies established the Economic Interest Association Slovenian Consulting Cluster on 30 September in Rogaška Slatina which is intended to better connect the Slovenian consulting community, which should in the future express itself as a competitive advantage especially in comparison with foreign consulting companies in Slovenia.

    The celebrations continued on Saturday, 1 October when the founding members present voted during the 1st assembly on the nomination of the managing director of the association - Mr. Zoran Vaupot, partner and managing director of SIGEM Business Consulting, was elected unanimously. Mr. Vaupot also named a commercial director of the Slovenian Consulting Cluster, Mr. Niko Slavnić, managing director of IQbator.
