SIGEM Business Consulting since 1998
The company was founded in 1998 as a Slovenian subsidiary of the Ernst & Young Consulting Group. After acquisition by a French company Cap Gemini (winner of the "European Company of the Year 1999" competition) in 2000, the Cap Gemini Ernst & Young group was founded which employs 60,000 people and is Europe’s largest and one of the leading global organizations in management and IT consulting. In 2004 the company was renamed Cap Gemini.
The Slovenian subsidiary of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young was bought-out by Slovenian employees in 2002 and renamed SIGEM Business Consulting.
In 2004 SIGEM Business Consulting associated itself with Teradata, which is the leading global company in data storage and CRM technological support.
Today SIGEM Business Consulting is one of the most respected companies in Slovenia in management consulting and operation information support consulting, capable of providing a comprehensive service of the highest international quality to its clients. Services of SIGEM B.C. are also completely adjusted to specific demands of Slovenian companies. SIGEM Business Consulting is a member of the Association of Management Consulting of Slovenia and is a founding member of the Economic Interest Grouping, SSG, Consulting Cluster. Mr. Zoran Vaupot, partner and managing director of SIGEM Business Consulting, was appointed the first managing director of the SSG, Consulting Cluster.
